For the rest of the week, I'll be in Nashville, TN, for the annual International convention of the Barbershop Harmony Society. For the last 10 years, Midwest Vocal Express, the men's a cappella (un-accompanied)chorus that I sing with, has been priviledged to compete against the best in the world. This year is no different, as we take a brand new set of songs, costumes, and choreography, to the contest stage.
We've always finished in the Top Ten, and 3 times we've even gotten into the medals (top five!)
