Last week it was "Christmas in July" in the LipsYard garden, now that our Lilies are blooming, (Lilium Casa Blanca,) its Easter in August.
The sweet scent is almost overwhelming.
Just like these blooms have popped, so are lots of scandals popping in the hearing rooms on Capitol Hill. You've got Carl Rove with a subpeona in his pocket, Donald Rumsfeld and the Generals with the Pat Tillman cover-up, and the ever-present Alberto Gonzalez dodging questions left and right. The scent is sweet in a very different way.
Welcome to the yard on the left. A place to contemplate, relax, and rant on the right.
