Just when you think you've seen all the critters living in your corner of the world, a new one pops up. This young lady is the Black and Yellow Argiope (Argiope aurantia.) She's spun a web on the Day Lily (Hemerocallis.)
She's non-poisonous, and is easy to identify because of the zig-zag pattern spun into her web. It's not a web of deceit like we've seen in Washington under the name of "Executive Privilege."
