Thanksgiving morning brought us the first snow of the season. The Witchhazel (Hamamelis vernalis) featured on Wednesday at the edge of our green lawn, is now surrounded by a white blanket. No shoveling needed on this day, as it didn't stick to pavement, but we are going to gas up the 8hp blower and make sure it's running fine.11.23.2007
